Medical Education: A Two-Way Street

Comment () Share (0)

Medical education is a two-way street, says Emory's Dr. Kenneth Walker, who believes the word "teaching" should be replaced with the word "learning." Medical education involves doctors teaching students and house staff what they know, but it also involves learning continually from those some students and house staff. What makes successful medical education is the creation of mutual learning experiences.
